Suche OPAC Design

Ich habe nach Nationalbibliothek gegoogelt und einige willkürlich herausgepickt. Ohne meine Suche großartig zu verfeinern, habe ich im OPAC der jeweiligen Bibliothek nach „OPAC Design“ gesucht. Was kam heraus? Nun bei der DDB nichts. Ebenso wenig bei der British Library. Auch die nächste Nationalbibliothek ist nur einen Klick entfernt, also haste ich weiter nach Schottland. Die National Library of Scotland bietet 9951 Treffer nach Relevanz sortiert.

Eine Relevanz kann ich zunächst nicht erkennen. Die ersten drei Titel gehen so gar nicht in die Richtung dessen was ich mir erhofft habe. Der Library of Congress Online Catalog bietet 9976 Treffer.

The Netherlands troi points. Frankreich 1169 Treffer. 1169 Treffer? Was sind das für Treffer die der Catalogue de la Bibliothèque national de France zur Suche nach „OPAC Design“ ausgibt?

Eine entsprechende Suche liefert zunächst 10 Bücher. Das ist eine ausreichende aber überschaubare Anzahl. Die Trefferliste:

Und so weiter. Na das sind Ergebnisse die ich mir erhofft hatte. Jeweils mit Bild und Auszug aus dem Text. Und nur ein Klick weiter kann man schon im jeweiligen Buch schmökern. Aber ist die Encyclopedia of Library and Information Science tatsächlich nicht in der DDB vorhanden? Ich surfe zurück und suche diesmal direkt nach „Encyclopedia of Library and Information Science“. Treffer. Und wie sieht es mit „The Lcsh Century: One Hundred Years with the Library of Congress Subject Headings System“ bei der British Library aus? Treffer. Muss der Nutzer nun graben, oder eine Bibliothek besser präsentieren können? Die nächste Bibliothek ist auch nur einen Klick entfernt - und im Zweifellsfall ist es die Suchmaschine deiner Wahl.
